This project collaboration project with Tommaso Marro seeks to dress the destroyed world, to re-enchant the ruin by offering it a veil of unbridled nature, one that is by its very essence, free.
It is a look into a future that may be, a distant universe in which destruction is overrun by natural construction.

In June 2022, three months after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine,
Tommaso visited the country at war. First stop for his report: the suburbs of Kyiv,
previously occupied by the Russian army. Borodianka, Irpin, Bucha: these towns
surrounding the Ukrainian capital have become famous around the world for the level
of destruction and horror they experienced.
The images he captured portray a sad reality. The traces of the conflict are those of a
world which is collapsing by heaven and earth. Rockets, bombs, and bullets hit the
city and its inhabitants, leaving traces that even time cannot erase. Those who
survived the Russian advance and those who returned after the occupation now live
in a territory with disintegrated contours.
